lights up the skyline
The Skywheel was the first thing my kids noticed when we crossed the border into Canada. It really lights up the skyline of Niagara Falls. I’m not a big fan of heights but I felt completely safe! The carts are all enclosed by glass and are heated which was also nice for February in Canada. It was a total picturesque scene from the top of the ride. Pictures on your tiny computer screen can’t do it justice.

Quite a Sight
We spent several hours in this massive structure. We originally planned on just visiting the observation deck to see Nigara Falls from 775 feet above but we ended up staying for lunch in the revolving dinning room. It was really good and ended up being one of the best meals we had on our vacation. They also have a play area for kids in the base of the complex with arcade games and rides.

What a View
I was afraid to go to the top of the Skylon Tower because I‘m afraid of heights, so it took a little convincing by my husband to get me to the top. The ride up was quick and painless……and so worth the stunning view of Niagara falls and the surrounding area. It brings a whole new perspective to things being 800 feet above. Afterwards, when I couldn‘t take the dizzying heights anymore, we went down and wandered the Shopping Concourse, and the lower level, which features video games and other dynamic family activities like batting cages or bowling. All in all, a trip to the Skylon Tower can be a lot of fun!

Prom Night
It was getting to be that time of the year with much planning to be done for prom. We searched all throughout Niagara Falls, trying to find the perfect location. We decided on the Skylon Tower and it was the best decision. Upon arrival we took the yellow bucket up the side of the tower to the restaurant, music was planning and people were taking pictures. Dinner was served in the Summit Dining Room, buffet style. The Skylon tower is 775 feet above the falls which made for a wonderful background in our pictures. It will always be a night that I remember.
